The simplest way to figure out your skin type is how it feels about two hours after taking a shower. After the shower, don’t apply any moisturizer, sunscreen, toner, powder, or other products on your body and face. Two or three hours later, notice how your skin feels

  • If your forehead and cheeks feel tight or appear rough, flaky then you have dry skin.
  • If your face starts to feel greasy again as the day continues, then you have oily skin.
  • Ifyour face starts getting red, itchy, or develops a rash after using a particular cosmetic product, you have sensitive skin.
  • If you notice your skin doesn’t show any of these signs mentioned above, then you are lucky& have anormal skin type.

Take a Look in the mirror

  • If you notice flaky or red patches all over your face, you most likely have dry or sensitive skin.
  • If your face is shining all over, you have oily skin.
  • If you see a mix of oily & dry patches on your face, that means you havecombination skin.

Look at your skin pores

  • If you have normal skin, your skin pores will be visible but wont belarge.
  • If you have large skin poresthat are visible very easily, then you have oily skin type.
  • If your skin pores are invisible in the mirror, you have dry skin.
